Heyo~!
I just want to say that all projects in this account are going to be put on hiatus for the time being as I am putting all my time and energy into a new project of mine which I'm REALLY into =D
What it is, is a Hetalia 'manga', no pairings, because it's a manga version of HetaOni =D I'm keeping to the script and everything (with a few changes, like making Italy ve more, and adding in the snippits of other languages) so it'll be awesome! And I designed Steve to be shitloads creepier XD

I came across this page by talking to Jay/Darky. I was wondering if you could give me a few tips. I have my story outlined, the pages divided and even what it will look like on said page. Though not enough spunk to pull off the final act.
I would like to know what I will need to attain that ability in doing manga and if I have enough skills as of right now to start it.

Haha, Jay contacted me letting me know you did comment this (otherwise I wouldn't have noticed cus I'm always on my main account 'Altalia'), so that's good XD
Personally, I started practicing making manga about... 2 years ago now (my most current shit is at [link] ), and I wasn't the best at drawing either XD All I can say is if you're ready to make a manga, if you feel oyu are, then go ahead and give it a shot 8D
Some advice would be to perhaps start with doujinshis first if you want to gather a fanbase, so to speak, but it's completely up to you XD Also, try and avoid going over 6-7 panels a page if you can, otherwise it gets way too cluttered XD And sketch out each chapter before drawing them, because page-by-page NEVER works~ .w.

Everything I'm fine with, except for doushinjii. I'm always nervous that I might dirty someone's work that I probably could never make it as wonderful as the original. That's why they call it "original works". Though you are the 17th person that has told me to make one. I might need to give in to peer pressure some time or another.
No more than 6-7 pages, yup. I started with page by page but now that I know that it doesn't work in the slightest I won't make that mistake again.

Well it's up to you, but it's really hard to attract a crowd to an original manga otherwise unless you already have one for a different project <3 When I did doujins, I totally butchered the characters with my crappy art, but it got the job done XD
